Twirl | Hi, For my own practice and to see how it would work out, I pulled a card for a friends child. This was health related (which I do not read for others, when medical I refer to medical pro's). Anyway, her very young child needed an MRI scan and of course she and her husband were very worried. So I asked 'what I should know about the health of child X' and low and behold I got the 5 of pents which I obviously thought was worrying. To be certain I drew a clarifier emperor reversed, which I read as 'something difficult to control'. The results are now in and all was looking well (which is great!). The doctors just ordered the test out of precaution (emperor reversed - controlling organisation, getting overprotective here, or so I see it now), but I don't understand how I would have to see the 5 pents? What interpretation did I miss? Any takes are very welcome. Also, this is exactly why I do not read on medical issues. Or do you think it was perhaps unclear because I just did 1 card instead of a full spread (which I always do to get a full picture when someone asks me to read for them). Option 3: or is it because I didn't have the actual permission to read on it? I notice quite often that when I don't have that, the cards are just serving me some complete and utter untruths... Thanks for the replies in advance |

littlecloud | 5 of pents is to have faith that this difficult situation will pass. The child has the loving support of the parents to help it through whatever issues he/she may have had. It could also be a reflection of you assuming the worst. |
Twirl | Good points Little. Thanks Did you see my mail btw? |
hannaramaa | 5 of Pentacles I would just read as being sick, needing help. Emperor rx Something may be like an iron deficiency or high blood pressure? |

Twirl | @hanna: yes, that was my initial take. But I can also see littles and empress point here. And maybe I am too close with my friend to read clearly (and subconsiously assumed the worse). -edit 4 privacy - Thanks for your input |

You mean your respond to my request for a similar reading you gave empress? I'm sorry for not getting back to that sooner...school and stress. I need a massage lol. But I was actually wanting the same reading you gave her, how you said this is what you think you need/want in a relationship but this is what you actually need/want. I often wonder if I'm separating realty and fantasy well enough which is why this sparked my interest. |
Twirl | Hi, Yes, that's the one I suggested with a bit extra. To get to the thing that does us well, a change of thought pattern is often necessary otherwise we keep attracting the same situation and thinking: 'huh?! But how did this happen yet again??!' Lol. I'll sit down for you soon |
